What advice would you give young girls just starting their professional life?
“To all the young women embarking on their professional journeys, here’s my advice: believe in yourself and your abilities, and speak up for your ideas. Remember, you deserve equal opportunities and fair compensation in the workplace. Be creative, learn from your mistakes, and support other women in your field. Find a balance between your career and personal life, making your well-being a priority. With this mindset, you can navigate professional challenges with confidence and determination.”
How can you inspire other women to achieve their professional goals and lead with confidence?
“To inspire other women to achieve their professional goals and lead with confidence, one must first lead oneself with confidence and strive to achieve their own goals and ideals. You cannot help others without helping yourself first; everything is linked. Sisterhood arises from being well with yourself because when you are well with yourself, you don’t feel like competing; you feel like empowering others to be better.”
What’s one thing that makes you most proud of working at Techsoulogy?
“I am proud to be part of a company that recognizes and supports the needs of working women and mothers. We provide flexible policies and resources that allow us to balance our professional and personal responsibilities effectively. This culture of support enables us to excel in our work and serve as role models for future generations of women.”
How do you generate great ideas in your organization?
“Generating creative ideas and solutions involves connecting with both clients and colleagues, listening to their perspectives, and striving to find common ground. It’s all about sparking those conversations and building connections!”
What are you currently working towards that makes you excited?
“Being the dedicated account manager for web publishers involves a lot of new developments and updates. Being constantly in trend and following the latest technology requires non-stop learning, testing, and discovering. This excites and inspires me.”
How do you continue to grow and develop as a leader?
“I think the more you live, the more you can understand. So, I am happy I had the opportunity to live and work in different contexts; this way, I can better understand and support all my team members based on their needs and priorities.”
What woman inspires you and why?
“Princess Diana is remembered as inspiring for many due to her dedication to humanitarian causes like HIV/AIDS awareness, landmine eradication, and mental health support. She challenged royal traditions by engaging with the public on a personal level, contributing to the modernization of the British monarchy. Despite personal struggles and media intrusion, she remained resilient and fulfilled her royal duties gracefully, encouraging others to persevere through adversity. Diana’s fashion sense remains influential, showcasing elegance and glamour that continue to captivate audiences worldwide. Her legacy as a compassionate humanitarian, trailblazer, devoted mother, and style icon serves as a reminder of the power of kindness, empathy, and resilience in creating positive change and leaving a lasting impact on society.”
How do you believe gender diversity contributes to an organization’s success?
“The diversity of gender enriches any organization by bringing unique perspectives. With our life experiences and ways of viewing the world, women offer a distinct vision that complements our male colleagues. This variety of approaches allows us to tackle challenges from different angles, fostering creativity and innovation. Additionally, the empathy and care skills that women contribute are invaluable. Not only are we capable of understanding the needs and concerns of our colleagues, but we also create a more humane and supportive work environment. Empathy enables us to build stronger relationships, resulting in more cohesive and productive teams.”
What is your vision for the future of female leadership in the business world?
“When I think about the future of female leadership, an inclusive ecosystem comes to mind. For me, this doesn’t mean that certain positions in leadership should be reserved for women. It’s not about “fulfilling a quota” to gain tax benefits or stand out in statistics. It’s about ensuring that selection and promotion processes are entirely fair (including equal pay, which we know is still a pending issue socially). It will be then when female leadership will have its real place and can contribute all its richness. I trust that the government will continue to provide tools to understand reconciliation as a genderless right.”
