Demand AM Team Leader
We chat with Carla Gallardo about how to be a Team Leader and how to motivate a Demand Team to achieve the best results and work in a good environment.
Answer: I’ve always worked in the digital advertising industry. At Softonic, I started working with programmatic deals and got passionate about it, so I started focusing my career on it. For the past 4 years, I’ve been 100% focused on programmatic.
A: I love to see how each member of the team progresses and improves, and gives the best of themselves.
A: I would say be honest (with yourself and with the team), learn from them, and give them autonomy to do.
A: Proactivity, honesty, and being a team player.
A: I try to give them the autonomy to try by themselves but am always available in case they need help. Also, I encourage them to help each other and create a good team environment.
A: The team has doubled this year, after having some rotation. In one week we passed from having 2 Account Managers, to having 4. The onboarding was fast due to the team spirit and help of everybody. Now looking forward to rocking this Q4 with a full team!
A: I look forward to seeing an increase in CTV activity. I think it’s still new and there is a lot to improve there.
A: I don’t know how many I send, but I receive more than 100 reporting emails per day!

A: I try to do yoga almost every day. If not, 5 minutes of meditation can work too.
A: Buy a house in the mountain to build a Bed & Breakfast, and travel!
