Let’s meet Amro Shehata, Performance Operations Manager at Tappx. In this interview we ask him what is the best part of his job and how to organize a productive day at work.
Answer: I started some years ago, by working in a DSP for direct publishers. At that time, we were mainly doing pop/interstitial ads on desktop and mobile web.
A: The good part is that you are always updated about what is going on in the industry. For example, by talking with account managers from other companies, you can understand the best offers running at the moment.
A: Problem solving, experience in the industry, good English, and if you know one or two more languages is a plus.
A: Partners/Clients at the event always sent good feedback about our partnership with them and the way we manage their accounts.
A: Create, organize, and promote offers links ad hoc. Solving issues that our Partners might face on technical and business sides. For communication, I use Skype and email. Skype is really useful in fact.
A: The industry changes fast and we need to be up to date with it.
A: I would say an average of 20 daily emails and when we have to confirm numbers a bit more.
A: Livescore.
A: Eat.
A: Take some sabbatical years just to travel and enjoy the world.
