TAM Team Leader
Interview
Let’s meet Jordi Arnau, TAM Team Leader at Tappx. We talk about the programmatic industry, leadership tips, and much more. Don’t miss his interview!
Answer: I worked on Advertisement for years, so Programmatic Advertising has never been a stranger to me. But when I started working here in Tappx I dove into its deepest confines to discover this enormous and fascinating world.
A: Helping others to thrive. I feel profound happiness when the members of the team start seeing and believing in their strengths and recognizing and working on their weaknesses so they can be better and more confident in their abilities.
A: Get your hands dirty. Of course, the main job of a Team Lead is leading and managing the team, but I think it’s important to never lose the perspective of what the team is working on.
A: Empathy and flexibility. Empathy is a must for me in all human relationships, not only at work. And flexibility because in this industry you need to be able to adapt day to day to the needs and innovations that become a reality.
A: Companionship and a high dose of humor and memes! In the end, we probably share more time with the team than with our family, so we have created our own family at work!
A: Because of the nature of our job we get more small daily victories than big accomplishments, but all are achieved the same way: being there for each other and collaborating and helping on whatever is needed.
A: I think the ideal is to have a more standardized exchange of data so it’s easier to process and safer for everyone.
A: Not that much! But if we talk about Redmine notes and issues… that’s another thing! I’m probably on the verge of two dozen every day!
A: My Podcast manager. I’m addicted to listening to podcasts and I do it all the time: while driving, doing household chores, doing some exercise… even when I go to sleep!
A: Because most of the days I work remotely from home, what I do to disconnect is get out for a walk. I especially love going to beautiful natural places, and I’m lucky enough to have both the sea and incredible mountains near home.
A: I would take some free time to travel a bit, mainly Scotland and Japan.
