Question: How did you get into the programmatic industry?

Answer: I started working in ad tech in 2016 when I joined a large ad network while living in London. I have stayed in the industry since, but it’s only in recent years that I moved into the programmatic side of the business.

Q: What is the best part of being a Supply Business Developer?

A: The best part is building long-term partnerships. I truly enjoy helping clients grow their revenue and solve problems. Ad tech is constantly evolving, which keeps the role exciting and stimulating.

Q: Could you list some tips for becoming a good Supply Business Developer? What are the essential skills needed in your job?

A:

  • Be genuinely curious about and interested in your clients’ businesses
  • Stay up to date with market trends and industry changes
  • Communicate clearly, listen more than you talk, and manage expectations

Q: How do you organize your day? What tools do you use, and which are your favorite?

A: I usually start my day by prioritizing the most urgent matters. I rely on tools like Google Email and Calendar, Slack, HubSpot, and reporting dashboards to stay organized.

Q: Do you have any idea how many emails you send per day?

A: I have no clue… Quality over quantity!

Q: What is the app you use the most in your daily life?

A: So many! But most likely WhatsApp.

Q: What is the first thing you do when you get home and disconnect from work?

A: I play with my two toddlers and our two small dogs. It is the best way to truly disconnect!

Q: What would you do if you won the lottery?

A: I would buy my family a beautiful, big house and then take them on a trip around the world.

Q: Tell us a fun fact about yourself

A: Before university, I backpacked for 1.5 years through Southeast Asia and along both the west and east coasts of Australia. I had the time of my life and made memories for a lifetime!
