AI Developer
Interview
Iratxe Moya is a Data Scientist and works as Python Devoloper at Tappx. She is currently working on one of the most exciting ads products such as contextual and, for being successful on that, a continuous learning mood is a must for her job.
Answer: As I am a data scientist, I didn’t know much about programmatic before working at Tappx. I started working because I thought that the project was interesting in a technical way, and then I found out what programmatic was.
A: For me, the best part of being an AI developer is that I need to be in a continuous learning mood. The AI area grows really fast and part of my work is to know how is it growing and which new focuses are in the area so that I can upgrade Contextual products as fast as possible!
A: I think the most important skill is to be fast learning and capable to find solutions by yourself. Most of the time there aren’t exact examples on the Internet of what you are looking for so you need to be open-minded and capable to take small ideas from projects/code that do not match with what you need but have some similar things.
A: I have recently (a couple of years ago) been part of the writing of a scientific paper that tries to improve Alzheimer’s detection using Deep Learning. I have done some other things I am proud of after this paper, but nothing with such importance for the whole society.
A: I like to use Notion for organization and note-taking, and Clockify for time tracking.
A: I really think that the Contextual project is the future, but we still need to improve in video/article contextualization.
A: Really few! I work more with Slack.
A: Notion, probably. I use it not only for work but for personal stuff too!
A: I usually get a shower and play some video games or read a book.
A: Depending on the amount of money, I would work only part-time, and I would use the rest of the time for traveling (and I would probably buy thousands of useless things that I would never use)..
