Meet Franc, our Strategic Partnerships Team Leader at Tappx. Franc stumbled into the programmatic industry by chance, discovering his passion for digital marketing over a decade ago. With a focus on analytical skills, attention to detail, storytelling, and communication, Franc maximizes his time by prioritizing tasks based on revenue impact. Utilizing a blend of traditional methods like notebooks and modern tools like Google Tasks and HubSpot reminders, Franc stays organized amidst industry changes.
Answer: It was all by mistake. After I studied marketing, the school sent me to an interview for an internship at an online supermarket. However, they made a mistake and sent me to a digital marketing company. I did the interview and liked the idea, and ten years later, I’m here.
A: Having the opportunity to work with so many good products and games that you can use in your daily life and seeing them grow right next to you while building relationships with people worldwide.
A: Analytical, attention to detail, Storytelling, and Communication. I would say that you need to love communicating with people and being able to translate the message between stakeholders. Analyzing and understanding the data is super important to align with your client’s objectives. Attention to detail: we can’t stay on the surface of things. I would say that we need always to go one step further. And storytelling with all the data and info that we get, we need to be able to create a story that our clients will understand.
A: I always try to prioritize based on revenue and the impact the actions will have. Things happen every day in our constantly changing industry, and I apply the same strategy to maximize my time.
I am a bit old school in this sense, and I always carry a notebook where I write down all the things that I must finish during the day or the things that I need to focus on during the week, but I started using Google Tasks and reminders from HubSpot to track things better.
A: Well, I would say that I don’t focus as much on emails, and with my clients, I use Slack, Skype , Telegram, and WhatsApp, so If I count all of this,…too many 🙂
A: Besides WhatsApp and Spotify, I am addicted to TikTok.
A: Call my parents and turn on YouTube.
A: No doubt, buy an apartment.
