Question: How did you get into the programmatic industry?

Answer: By pure chance. The pandemic forced the closure of the company I was working for and also put Patricia Iglesias (our Chief People & Culture Officer) in my path. It was love at first sight! So I couldn’t say no…

Q: What is the best part of being a Team Leader?

A: Being able to take an active role as somebody who can «help» any team member with their problems no matter if they are work or personal issues. For me, “help” is much more than just a word. I try to put it into practice on a daily basis.

Q: Could you list some leadership tips?

A: I wouldn’t dare.

Q: What skills do you look for in the people for your team?

A: In addition to the essential training for the position they are going to perform, I give extraordinary importance to empathy with colleagues. I am fortunate to have created, together with my colleagues, a great working environment, and this has a real impact in the results we can achieve as a team.

Q: How do you motivate your team to achieve the best results?

A: Giving them a little room to make mistakes and fail from time to time. This freedom allows them to take their time to feel more comfortable and do their best in the end.

Q: Tell us about a successful result achieved as a team and how did you get it.

A: I am super proud of all the work my team is doing so I can’t keep just one single achievement. They show their talent every day and I couldn’t be happier that people love being part of my team.

Q: Talking about the future, what do you expect from our industry? What needs to be improved from a technology standpoint?

A: I hope advertising can turn into an increasingly friendly environment and end up being widely accepted as something useful instead of being considered a hindrance.

Q: Do you have any idea how many emails you send per day?

A: None. Sometimes 0.

Q: What is the app you use the most in your daily life?

A: Obsidian. It is my second brain.

Q: What is the first thing you do when you get home and disconnect from work?

A: Listening to my pre-teen daughter’s stories about her adventures and misadventures at school.

Q: What would you do if you won the lottery?

A: No chances here. I just like playing Xbox. XD.
