Question: How did you get into the programmatic industry?

Answer: One of the HR guys from Tappx (Gabriel) contacted me through an app called Circular, gave me a technical test, and the rest is history.

Q: What is the best part of being a Technical Account Manager?

A: Working for a team like the one we have in Tappx.

Q: Could you list some tips to become a good TAM? What are the essential skills needed in your job?

A: Being patient, proactive, and having the ability to learn new things every day.

Q: Tell us about a recent success story or job goal you’re proud of.

A: Being responsible for the technical part of CTV’s advertising.

Q: How do you organize your day? What tools do you use and which of them are your favorite ones?

A: Organizing my days is a bit difficult, since being a TAM is never a routine. There are always new challenges coming up every day. We use all the intern tools that Tappx provides, plus Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ, Git, MySQL GUI tools, the navigator console, Putty, Postman, Slack… My favorite is Visual Studio, as I really enjoy programming.

Q: What do you expect from the future of the industry? What needs to be improved?

A: I see the industry growing because there are more and more devices and applications that we use daily, but I think there should be a greater consensus regarding standardization.

Q: Do you have any idea how many emails you send per day?

A: Fortunately, just a few ones, but you better not ask me about how many Redmine issues I respond to per day. 🙂

Q: What is the app you use the most in your daily life?

A: Spotify.

Q: What is the first thing you do when you get home and disconnect from work?

A: Listening to music or reading a book.

Q: What would you do if you won the lottery?

A: Invest all my money in Tappx.
