Let’s meet our colleague Anastassiia. She works as a Bussiness Developer in the Supply department at Tappx and, in this interview, she gives us interesting tips to become a good professional in her area of expertise.
Answer: After an intense year in BIG 4 (financial audit), I wanted to try something new. My friend recommended to me a company that was looking for a person in Ukraine to hire for oRTB project. I passed the interview with the CEO and got an offer.
A: First of all, a Business Developer is a person who is always on the move. From my own perspective, the most exciting thing in Business Development is that you always get to know something new and challenges are an integral part of your work.
A: Some of the most important tips to become a good BD are:
And the essensial skills are communication, collaboration, negotiation and persuasion, computerind, and project management.
A: My interpersonal communication and negotiation skills allowed me to develop productive working relationships with both clients and team members. As the result of my performance and constantly meeting goals I got promoted from Account Manager position to Account Executive. This was my personal proudest moment in my previous company.
A: Usually I use task management platforms. My favorite is probably ClickUp because it has an easy interface, it allows you to prioritize your tasks, assign tasks to other team members and estimate time.
A: Programmatic advertising is undeniably among the top advertising trends. Technology has revolutionized how we can advertise. I believe it is gonna grow even more. Programmatic advertising has the potential to help brands thrive, but it can also be tricky to navigate on your own.
In order to prevent fraud it is essential to evolve the tech and data infrastructure and decrease reliance on third party data. Exploring new environments is extremely important for the performance, in addition to 1st party data, some of their budget might shift to innovative ad spaces (formats).
A: I used to send around 25 emails per day.
A: At the moment it’s probably Duolingo and different messengers.
A: I burn candles and spend some time in silence with myself.
