Interview
Answer: Since I was a child, I’ve always liked the world of technology and computers. I used to enjoy setting up my own servers and machines to run tests. As I got older, I wanted to dive deeper into this vast world, so I enrolled in an advanced vocational program in networks and systems — and here I am.
A: You’re an important figure as the Administrator of the systems — you have to handle a bit of everything to keep everything connected and running. There’s always something new and different; it’s not a very monotonous job, and for me, that’s a big plus.
A: If you want to be good, you need to have the mindset of automating everything — the more, the better. You have to stay on top of a lot of things, so the more automation you have, the more time you’ll have to focus on what really matters.
A: First of all, I catch up — I check if there are any new messages or tickets and communicate any updates with my teammates. Once everything’s clear, it’s time to get to work! As for tools, I use many throughout the day, but one I find very useful and really like is Grafana, because the graphs help me keep everything under control.
A: Normally, I don’t send any. However, occasionally I might need to send one to handle a warranty issue. We handle internal communication through Slack.
A: If we’re talking about hours of use, I think YouTube is above social media and WhatsApp, because it has everything. I use it both for entertainment and to learn — there’s content on everything from science and astronomy to history and podcasts. So I spend a good amount of my time there.
A: First of all, I say hi to my pets. Then I usually go out to do things or head to the gym. If I have plans with someone that day, I don’t waste time — I leave right away to meet up. You have to make the most of your time!
A: Live life! It all depends on the amount, but if it were a lot, the first thing would be to buy a house and a supercar. Then I’d invest in something to keep generating income, advised by the best. I’d also help my family and the people around me however I could. And if after all my luxuries eccentricities I still had something left, I’d help humanity by creating projects and foundations that truly contribute to the future of human species.
