Ricardo’s advice for those interested in working as business developers: Stay updated, develop communication skills, have genuine interest and curiosity and be eager to learn!
Answer: Through the evolution of the commercialization of ad spaces, I used to sell campaigns by insertion order, and now it is all programmatic!
A: I love the challenge of working on developing creative solutions for buyers, bringing the power of our technology and premium inventory to solve their campaign’s problems.
A: To become a good business developer you must have curiosity, and be eager to learn. Our industry is always evolving, and we are always offering the latest and the most advanced marketing solutions.
A: We recently signed with a quick-growing US company that is so well positioned to win in the Multicultural arena, and we are glad to be powering them with our premium inventory. Another example is a large industry DSP, we were able to unblock spending by optimizing our sellers.json, an initiative in which we are proud to participate, providing full transparency to the industry.
A: The main tools that I use are our CRM PipeDrive when working on our leads, Redmine during a client implementation, and our Reporting System for research and for launching a new client.
A: This industry is always evolving, we have seen the growth of CTV, the growth of Retail Media, the growth of media on Gaming, NFTs, etc. One thing that I expect is that we will always be evolving, and we need to always work hard to be at the front of what is to come next.
A: Not that many, I am not a spammer!!!
A: Alarm Clock? LOL, I set up multiple alarms, for every meeting that I have, 10 minutes before all meetings, and for all main tasks – wake up, take kids to school, pick up kids, etc etc.
A: I actually do the opposite, I get out of home when I disconnect from work!! To the Gym, to do some sports, a hike in the mountains to see the sunset, something fun.
A: For sure pay taxes (a lot). Well, after all, taxes were paid, I would invest the majority of this money in low risk investments, and take advantage of the dividends. For sure I will continue to work, but just for the fun of it – I do not plan to ever stop working, it is good for the mind. But of course, work much less, take long vacation breaks and go to fun places, enjoy good restaurants, etc.
