Berta Moreno is a member of the Tappx Supply team. She works as Account Manager and has direct contact with publishers every day. Let’s find out what her daily work is like and what she likes the most.

Question: What is the best part of being an Account Manager?

Answer: Always have the chance to speak with so many different people from everywhere around the world. The contact with the client is always great.

Q: Could you list some tips to become a good AM? What are the essential skills needed in your job?

A: I think the most important are:

• Analytical approach to everything
• Be capable of adapting to a bunch of different situations
• Always try to find the right words to speak to each publisher in the most possible personalized way
• Be organized
• Have a teamwork spirit

Q: Tell us about a recent reliable client relationship, success story, or goal you’re proud of.

A: There are a few clients I have a good relationship with but I am specially proud of the relationship I have built with a couple of them in the past year. They have become two important partners for Tappx. One is focused on Gaming and the other focused on News Content but both have brought good traffic and results after building a strong relationship with them.

Q: How do you organize your day? What tools do you use and which of them are your favorite ones?

A: I start the day by checking the previous day’s stats. This will mainly lead the rest of the day. If everything was great the day before, I should try to find out why. If anything is wrong, I should find out why and try to solve it asap. Reading my emails is the second thing I do in the morning. Once I have everything clean then I can start analyzing data and working with my teammates and publishers to increase numbers & solve the problems that might appear during the day.

Q: What do you expect from the future of the industry? What needs to be improved?

A: A bigger increase than expected. The transparency.

Q: Do you have any idea how many emails you send per day?

A: I am not sure about that but for example, today I have already sent 12 emails (I start working at 8.30 and had a couple of meetings from 10.30 to 12) so I believe I have an average of around 4-5 emails per hour. It depends on the day and the volume of requests we receive from publishers as well.

Q: What is the app you use the most in your daily life?

A: Tik Tok and WhatsApp.

Q: What is the first thing you do when you get home and disconnect from work?

A: Be with my baby boy Nil. 🙂

Q: What would you do if you won the lottery?

A: First share the prize with my family and family-in-law. After that, I’d buy a house for my husband, my kid, and me. I would keep on working though I am sure I’d start doing something else with the money for fun investing it in one of my hobbies which is FOOD.
