Anastasios works in the Tappx Supply Team as Business Developer. You can find him sending emails, having meetings with publishers or physically at events. Another thing you should know is that he probably gives the best hugs ever!

Question: How did you get into the programmatic industry?

Answer: I was working in the digital advertising industry for some years and thanks to the intuition of Pat, our Chief People and Culture Officer, I decided to join Tappx and immerse myself in the programmatic advertising industry.

Q: What is the best part of being a Business Developer?

A: You get to meet and talk to people from around the world and build strong relationships. You get to travel and attend conferences abroad and learn more about this industry that is growing rapidly. You always learn new things and the industry is fascinating enough to keep you on your toes and motivated.

Q: Could you list some tips to become a good BD? What are the essential skills needed in your job?

A: Being multilingual is one of the best skills a BD can have along with resilience, self-motivation, a positive attitude toward every outcome, effective communication, and most important good listener and with a consultative approach.

Q: Tell us about a recent reliable client relationship, success story, or goal you’re proud of.

A: I recently managed to establish a good relationship with a mediator that connected me with one of our current top5 in revenue generation accounts and I am working on more collaborations.

Q: How do you organize your day? What tools do you use and which of them are your favorite ones.

A: I usually start my day with my tasks list on HubSpot. Then I focus on new reach outs and following up with current open deals. I use various tools during the day with my favorites being LinkedIn, EmaiValidator, and 42 matters.

Q: What do you expect from the future of the industry? What needs to be improved?

A: Programmatic advertising is growing every day and is expected to grow exponentially in the following years. Something that needs to be improved as an outcome of this growth is energy consumption and ecological footprint.

Q: Do you have any idea how many emails you send per day?

A: Usually around 50-70.

Q: What is the app you use the most in your daily life?

A: WhatsApp.

Q: What is the first thing you do when you get home and disconnect from work?

A: Usually, I go to the gym.

Q: What would you do if you won the lottery?

A: Donate some of it to the NGOs of Henri Cavil and Jane Goodall.
