Mohamad works as Junior Sales at Tappx reaching publishers that are willing to grow with us. In this interview he tells how he learns from our clients and the essential skills needed in his job.

Question: How did you get into the programmatic industry?

Answer: Programmatic advertising was not my first choice of career to follow. However, the AdTech industry keeps on booming, and Tappx gave me a shot to grow a new career in this field. In combination with my education level and previous job experiences, I decided to put all my skills into learning and developing in the programmatic industry.

Q: What is the best part of being a Junior Sales?

A: As a Junior Sales, I tend to reach out to many possible publishers that are willing to grow with Tappx for quality service. Setting aside the fact that I learn from and tend to our clients, I get to work with amazing colleagues who are always there for me inside and outside of work.

Q: Could you list some tips to become a good BD? What are the essential skills needed in your job?

A: Detail-Oriented, Patience, and TEAMWORK! Sharing my knowledge and failures, with any colleague can act as a huge contribution from myself. Learning from one another is key for a better flow and enhanced chemistry, as well as better communication, and high results. Teamwork always makes the dream work!!

Q: Tell us about a recent reliable client relationship, success story, or goal you’re proud of.

A: Building a firm relationship with our clients is a vital pillar in Tappx, nothing makes me happier than when I witness one of my clients being fully taken care of in our team and increasing their daily revenue.

Q: How do you organize your day? What tools do you use and which of them are your favorite ones?

A: Google Workspace is a great tool to organize my daily task.

Q: What do you expect from the future of the industry? What needs to be improved?

A: I expect a great shift toward the programmatic industry from normal advertising and in-house publishing advertising. Inconsistent measurement and metrics of data can be improved in the industry due to different laws and regulations. In addition, Ad Fraud is always an issue that needs development and improvement.

Q: Do you have any idea how many emails you send per day?

A: I send around 45-50 emails per day, depending on other pending tasks.

Q: What is the app you use the most in your daily life?

A: Instagram.

Q: What is the first thing you do when you get home and disconnect from work?

A: I always tend to go to the gym and put in the workout I need on a daily basis.

Q: What would you do if you won the lottery?

A: Being able to bring my family from Lebanon to live with me in Spain and buy them a new house here would definitely be my first move.
