Question: How did you get into the programmatic industry?

Answer: This will be my first experience in the programmatic industry, so that means Tappx is giving me the opportunity and pleasure to learn more about the industry.

Q: What is the best part of being a Business Developer?

A: For me, the best part is to build relationships from scratch with new customers and get to learn from them too. Is great to feel accomplished when getting new clients.

Q: Could you list some tips to become a good BD? What are the essential skills needed in your job?

A: Firstly, I will say to be very organized so that you can be more productive and that will get you through daily tasks better. On the other hand, good communication is important, with active listening and adaptability. Curiosity and resilience play a key role as it helps to qualify the customer. Finally, be able to handle objections.

Q: Tell us about a recent reliable client relationship, success story, or goal you’re proud of.

A: The goal I’m proud of achieving was helping with the development and opening of the jewelry brand of my sister. It was something I had foreseen in the past years but due to covid It was delayed until the beginning of this year. It was really challenging as we had issues with the first collection order, it was lost in transit. We waited for almost six months, with constant issues with the transporter as they were not giving us good solutions at that moment. We had many unexpected expenses that were making that great project a struggle but thankfully we were able to solve these problems and stay consistent in the inquiry to get the collection as fast as possible. After that we were able to open the e-commerce, so she was able to fulfill her dream of opening her jewelry here.

Q: How do you organize your day? What tools do you use and which of them are your favorite ones?

A: I use Evernote as it is a very good tool to organize my daily tasks and activities. It is useful also to take notes and keep track of projects. For me, it is key to start every day and don’t miss any of my responsibilities.

Q: What do you expect from the future of the industry? What needs to be improved?

A: I expect exponential growth in the industry as more advertisers are seeking to maximize their revenue so programmatic buying will keep increasing. I think that the control of the use of bots and non-human traffic sources should be improved as it has a negative effect on revenue if it’s based on impressions.

Q: Do you have any idea how many emails you send per day?

A: I think I send more or less 10 per day.

Q: What is the app you use the most in your daily life?

A: Evernote.

Q: What is the first thing you do when you get home and disconnect from work?

A: I get ready to go to the gym. For me doing exercise is a perfect way to take my mind away from work related things and get time for myself.

Q: What would you do if you won the lottery?

A: I think the first thing would be to invest at least 70% of it and then use another 20% to travel and get to know more cultures. For the last 10%, I would make a donation to Action Against Hunger.
