Question: How did you get into the sports games industry?

Answer: I had never initially planned to get into the sports games industry. The opportunity became available with Techsoulogy when I was looking for work as a mobile application developer. Since I love sports and videogames, this was definitely a big attraction for me.

Q: What is the best part of being a Mobile Developer?

A: I really enjoy the satisfaction of solving complex programming problems. With mobile apps, I think it’s really cool to be able to develop programs and have them run on a handheld device.

Q: Could you list some tips to become a good Mobile Developer? What are the essential skills needed in your job?

A: I think good problem solving skills and a willingness to learn and improve are essential to becoming a good mobile developer. Also, it’s important to understand the best practices and programming architectural patterns to design robust mobile apps.

Q: Tell us about a recent reliable client relationship, success story, or goal you’re proud of.

A: I have an Android application published in the Google Play Store which has, at the time of writing, recently surpassed 1,000 downloads. I find it really satisfying knowing that people are using the app.

Q: How do you organize your day? What tools do you use and which of them are your favorite ones? 

A: Sometimes I like to set targets for a day. For example, implement a specific feature of the program by the end of the day. The tools I use most are Android Studio and GitHub, however, I’m sure I’ll be learning to use much more as my career progresses with Techsoulogy.

Q: What do you expect from the future of the industry? What needs to be improved?

A: Mobile technology is always changing and advancing. The future will provide many challenges for the mobile games industry and other types of mobile applications. It will be really cool to see how new types of mobile hardware and technology integrate with apps in the future.

Q: Do you have any idea how many emails you send per day? 

A: Not very many.

Q: What is the app you use the most in your daily life?

A: WhatsApp for sure.

Q: What is the first thing you do when you get home and disconnect from work?

A: I like to do exercise of some sort. Work up an appetite before dinner.

Q: What would you do if you won the lottery?

A: Travel a lot and go scuba diving in some of the coolest places in the world. Probably buy a big house on the coast. Not much chance of this happening though since I don’t play the lottery.
