This is Carlos Navarrete, Product Frontend Developer at Tappx. He usually works with Visual Code Studio and writes at least 100 lines of code every day! In this interview he tells us about his secret plan in case he wins the lottery… Read on to find out!

Question: How did you get into the programmatic industry?

Answer: When I was young, the Internet was coming. I loved it and was so curious about that. Then, I started to work on a WebTV project developing ads in video format.

Q: What is the best part of being a Tech Developer?

A: The best part is that you have to find and solve problems. To think about how to do something in the best way.

Q: Could you list some tips to become a good TD? What are the essential skills needed in your job?

A: These are my tips:

Organize your time and your tasks
Keep up to date with languages and technologies
Take a look at code from others’ TDS
Try to code with standards
Try to automate most tasks as possible

Q: Tell us about a recent success story or job goal you’re proud of.

A: I’m proud of working in companies whose projects are amazing and I like them.

Q: How do you organize your day? What tools do you use and which of them are your favorite ones?

A: First of all, I usually take a look at emails and I review pending tasks. Then, I check if I have any requirements from any of my work mates in order to get in touch with them. My favorite tools are Slack and mainly Visual Code Studio.

Q: What do you expect from the future of the industry? What needs to be improved?

A: I expect the industry keeps on growing and all of us earn money with it!

Q: Do you have any idea how many emails you send per day?

A: More than the emails I send, I know the number of lines of code I write. 🙂

Q: And how many lines of code are they? hahaha

A: At least 100 lines of code every day.

Q: What is the app you use the most in your daily life?

A: The app I use the most is Chrome Browser.

Q: What is the first thing you do when you get home and disconnect from work?

A: I usually go to the gym and I love to hang out with friends.

Q: What would you do if you won the lottery?

A: Obviously, I would buy the company. 😉
