Alberto is one of our Product Backend Developers at Tappx. His job consists of improving and creating new tools for the company and one of the most important tips he gives to future product backend developers is to learn how to do good Google searches. 🙂

Question: How did you get into the programmatic industry?

Answer: I was looking for my second job as a TD in Madrid and I found an advertising company called Mobaloo.

Q: What is the best part of being a Tech Developer?

A: Improve and create new tools for the company. 💪

Q: Could you list some tips to become a good TD? What are the essential skills needed in your job?

A: Of course! I would say:

Patience
Knowing how to ask for help
Learning how to do Google searches
Having good senior mentors where you work to help you grow

Q: Tell us about a recent success story or job goal you’re proud of.

A: The scheduler in PHP.

Q: How do you organize your day? What tools do you use and which of them are your favorite ones?

A: Notepad and to break down tasks into small steps.

Q: What do you expect from the future of the industry? What needs to be improved?

A: Advertising is increasingly associated with the user.

Q: Do you have any idea how many emails you send per day?

A: I think around 10 or 20.

Q: What is the app you use the most in your daily life?

A: Kindle.

Q: What is the first thing you do when you get home and disconnect from work?

A: Playing sports, video games, and reading.

Q: What would you do if you won the lottery?

A: First of all, take a good vacation.
